How to Read the Celestial Window (And Fix Loading Errors)

Your inner psychological weather responds directly to the external environment. The Celestial Window tracks the massive, ambient forces currently acting upon your state of mind.

You'll will find this display on the Home tab, sitting right beneath the archetypal carousel. The interface monitors three specific cosmic coordinates in real time: the active Planetary Hour, the current Moon Phase, and the active Moon Sign.

Tap directly on any of these three pillars. The module will display a short, targeted summary of that exact placement. These descriptions translate the raw mechanics of the sky into immediate, practical material for your inner work.

As Above, So Below

The entire MOODS platform operates on the ancient principle that the macrocosm reflects the microcosm. The moon dictates the physical tides of the ocean. Those exact same massive forces influence (and act upon) your own "inner waters" of the unconscious.

Practitioners of esoteric traditions have always tracked planetary hours and moon phases to read the invisible currents pulling on human behavior.

You can bring this raw data directly into your practice in MOODS. Read the active Moon Sign or Planetary Hour on your display, and carry that specific context straight into an encounter with an archetype.

You might ask them how this current celestial weather is amplifying or impacting a certain area of your life right now. Beginning by exploring the active planetary hour provides a highly effective starting point when you arrive at a session seeking direction.

Location Requirements and Web-Based Realities

To pull accurate Celestial Window data for your specific time zone, MOODS will request your browser's location. Calculating the active planetary hour requires knowing exactly where you currently are in the world.

Your privacy is important to us. So if you prefer to block location tracking, the rest of the tool will function perfectly normally for you. Refusing to share your location simply means the Celestial Window will display a blank or continuous loading state on your Home tab.

Because MOODS currently runs entirely in your browser, it has to ask your phone for permission to see where you are. Mobile browsers like iOS Safari are designed to block these location requests by default. If the window freezes or fails to load, your phone is simply doing its job by guarding your privacy. This is a known limitation of building on the web. The feature will run perfectly once the native mobile app launches and establishes a direct connection to your device.

If you are curious about why we chose to launch exclusively on the web, we explain that decision right here.

Troubleshooting the Display

If the Celestial Window stalls or continuously loads, your browser is likely blocking the location request. Resolve this by enabling location services directly in your device or browser settings. After updating those permissions, fully close the active tab and open a fresh one to reset the connection.

Operating exclusively on the web means we are subject to the strict privacy rules of individual browsers. This specific feature will experience occasional friction until we transition to a native mobile environment.

You can always reach out to support@moodscodex.com for guidance. Our team's ability to resolve browser-level location blocks remains limited, as these settings exist entirely within your own device. We appreciate your patience as you navigate these early beta constraints.

A Point of Departure

The Celestial Window functions as a direct reminder of your connection to wider planetary currents. The entire MOODS system exists as an experience meant to be felt and navigated through pure intuition.

Make a habit of checking this display alongside your active Moods states and your Archetypal Contellation/Drift. These modules all offer immediate, tangible data to bring straight into your practice.

These features exist specifically to spark spontaneous dialogue with the different archetypes. Take the current moon phase or planetary hour directly to an archetype and ask how that exact celestial weather impacts your present state. Use the interface as a conversational starting point to see where the interaction leads.

Stay curious, cultivate an open mind, and allow the broader rhythms of the sky to inform your daily exploration.
