Is There a MOODS Mobile App?
A lot of people ask the same thing when they hear about MOODS: “Where do I download the app?” Right now, you don’t.
MOODS starts on the web. We made that choice because we’re actively still shaping how this tool is used. Building web-first lets us watch real behavior, adjust quickly, and fix problems without long delays. That matters when you’re building something people use to think and reflect, not just click.
We’re a small, independent team. We’re not trying to scale faster than we can support. Web tools let us iterate safely, change things as we learn, and respond in days instead of months.
There’s also a practical reason. Mobile apps come with approval processes, update delays, and platform rules that seriously limit how quickly changes can be made. Starting on the web gives us freedom to refine the product before locking it into those more rigid systems.
A mobile app is absolutely part of our future. We’re not avoiding it. We want to understand how people actually use it before it becomes an app in your pocket. For now, web-first keeps us focused on building something stable and genuinely useful without rushing it into a format that creates more friction for us (and our members) down the road.
